History of R.L. Johnston Inc. 

  • 1953 - Robert L. "Bob" Johnston began building homes. Later that year Bob partnered with his brother Phonsie E. Johnston.
  • 1964 - R.L. Johnston Inc. established as a corporation in the state of VA. 
  • 1994 - Thomas E. Johnston becomes president. 
  • 2011 - Joshua T Johnston takes the reigns as the third generation of the 60 year old company.
